The singularity arrives, and it works. Knowledge work is automated in a rush, diseases fall, energy problems dissolve. But the gains flow upward. Those who own the AI systems, the compute (computing power), and the platforms capture most of the value. Everyone's life improves. Some lives improve immeasurably more. A golden age for those at the top, and a complicated, ambiguous improvement for everyone else.
